REMAX® is proud to share that Dario Castiglia, owner and helmsman of the Baltic 65 REMAX One, has officially been named the 2026 Sailor of the Year (Owner category) by Giornale della Vela.
After previously being featured under Celebrating Success and receiving support from across the network, this recognition marks an incredible milestone in the REMAX One comeback story.
Following a devastating 2023 accident that nearly ended the yacht’s racing future, Castiglia and his team spent two years restoring and rebuilding REMAX One for elite competition once again.
That perseverance paid off through standout performances including:
- Winning the Racing category at ARC 2025
- Finishing second in the CSA2 class at the 2026 St. Maarten Heineken Regatta
The award recognized not only performance on the water, but the resilience, teamwork and determination behind the journey.
Looking ahead, REMAX One is set to compete in major Mediterranean sailing events including the Millevele di Genova and Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez.
