Asia Pacific Convention 2025: RE/MAX Mongolia Delivers an Unforgettable Experience in Ulaanbaatar
The 2025 RE/MAX Asia Pacific Convention marked a historic milestone as it was hosted for the first time by RE/MAX Mongolia, coinciding with the region’s 10th anniversary. Held in the dynamic capital of Ulaanbaatar, the event brought together over 400 attendees, including 350 delegates and leaders from more than 20 countries across the Asia Pacific region. With 87 broker offices and 1,500 agents, RE/MAX Mongolia proudly showcased its rapid growth and rising influence in the global network.
Among the standout delegations, RE/MAX Japan led with over 40 participants, earning recognition as the Best Participation Region. Delegates from South Korea, Guam, Taiwan, Australia, Thailand, and others added to the vibrant international presence.
Convention Highlights
Strategic Meetings & Inspiring Keynotes: The convention opened with a Region Owners’ meeting, setting the tone for a week of collaboration and vision-sharing. Attendees were treated to inspiring keynote presentations from 10 international and 12 Mongolian speakers, including industry leaders, top RE/MAX executives, and high-performing agents. A highlight was the powerful session by Grant Gavin from South Africa, whose insights on leadership and innovation left a lasting impression.
Breakout Sessions, Training & Development: Interactive breakout sessions and workshops tackled key topics such as AI in real estate, market trends, management strategies, lead generation, team building, and how to leverage RE/MAX tools for growth. These sessions provided practical takeaways for Affiliates at every level. Attendees also had the opportunity to visit six established RE/MAX offices in Ulaanbaatar, gaining firsthand insights into local operations and success stories.
Recognition & Awards: The Gala Night was a celebration of excellence, where Year-to-Date production leaders were honored on stage by speakers and regional owners. In addition to RE/MAX Japan’s recognition, RE/MAX Korea received the Best Global Referral Exchange Booth Award, highlighting the importance of cross-border collaboration and global connectivity.
Cultural Showcase & Memorable Moments: Mongolia’s rich culture was woven throughout the convention experience—from traditional music and dance to local cuisine and art. A highlight of the Naadam Festival celebration was when Jan Repa and Michael Cobb donned traditional wrestling costumes, creating a fun and unforgettable moment that captured the spirit of cultural exchange.
Exclusive Government Visit: In a special honor, Region Owners, Regional Directors, staff, and speakers were invited by Parliament Member Bulgantuya to visit the Government Palace, adding a prestigious and memorable touch to the week’s events.
